What should I consider for my boudoir session?
I offer various collections with different albums, prints, and disc available for purchase. In addition to my session fees, you may also wish to book a nice hotel, hire a professional hair and make up artist, buy lingerie, shoes, or other accessories, or purchase additional prints and products.
Where should I do my boudoir photoshoot?
Starting July 2013 I will have a boudoir studio in Burlingame dedicated for my clients to use at no additional cost. Other locations that works well for boudoir shoots include your own home or a secluded outdoor location. I recommend booking a luxury hotel or a boutique hotel to get the best results because it’s spacious, nicely decorated, free of clutter, and offers plenty of natural light.
How do I book a boudoir session with you?
You can contact me via my contact page on this site and I will send you my pricing details. When you’re ready to book with me, all I require is a signed contract and a $200 non-refundable deposit to show your commitment. Please note that I only shoot with natural light which lends to my style of photography so my last appointment time will vary through out the year depending on the season. No evening shoots are available.
How soon should I schedule my boudoir shoot?
It really depends on the time of year and your flexibility in doing your shoot on a weekday versus a weekend. If you would like to give an album or print to your significant other for an anniversary or a wedding gift, I recommend doing your shoot 8-12 weeks before your special date. This will give me enough time to show you the photos, retouch your favorite images, and create your album for you. It really depends on the package you choose and the products that’s being offered. The Little Black Book takes about 4 weeks to complete, whereas the Boudoir Album and the Bombshell Album will takes about 6-8 weeks to finalize, print, and shipped.
Will my images be posted on your site or used as marketing materials?
Absolutely not, unless you’re okay with it! You have the options on how you’d like your images be handled and there are different levels of privacy statements that will suit your comfort level in the contract.
Will you photoshop/touch-up my images?
Yes. I will retouch all your favorite images and images that make it into the album. Retouching includes skin smoothing, teeth whitening, stretchmarks/blemish removal, removal of flyaways, and sharpening of important details. Additional images beyond the ones states in my package can be retouched as well for a fee.
There are certain parts of my body I am not comfortable with, so can you place less emphasis on areas I am concerned about?
Certainly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there are certain parts of our bodies that we think are not flattering at all but others might not think the same. I encourage you to let me know which part(s) of your body you’re most proud of, and other part(s) that you may have concerns about. This way I can prepare poses that flatters your body type.
Do I need to bring my own outfits?
I have some lingerie, accessories, and shoes available but sizes are limited so please bring your own outfits for your shoot.
When and how do I view my images?
Your gallery of unedited images will be available for your viewing 2 weeks after your shoot via a password protected online gallery. From there you may select your favorites for your album. Final product delivery will take approximately 4-10 weeks depending on the package and album chosen.
When can I expect to receive my album?
The 5×5 Little Black Book takes 2 weeks from your approval date. The 6×8 Petite Album Boudoir Album and the 8×8 Boudoir Album takes 3 weeks from your approval date. The 8×12 Fine Art Album takes 4 weeks from your approval date.
